( ) Speak with Kaen Facae in Lake Rathe to begin the quest.
( ) Kill Sir Edwin Motte in East Freeport, loot his head.
( ) Bring the head to Kazen, and receive the Symbol of the Apprentice.

The Task

( ) Find Venenzi Oberzendi in the Nektulos Forest and give her the Symbol of the Apprentice, receive the Twisted Symbol of the Apprentice.
( ) Kill Najena and loot a Flowing Black Robe.
( ) Give the rober to Venenzi and receive Moss.
Emkel
( ) Go to Lake Rathe and find Emkel. Give him the Moss and the Twisted Symbol to receive the Symbol of the Serpent.

Ssessthrass

( ) Give the Symbol of the Serpent to Ssessthrass in the Swamp of No Hope, receive the Scaled Symboil of the Serpent.

Manisi Herb

( ) Kill the Grand Herbalist in Chardok, and loot the Mansi Herb. (uncommon drop)
( ) Give Ssessthrass the Manisi Herb and the Scaled Symbol of the Serpent, receive Refined Manisi Herb.
( ) Given Emkel the Refined Manisi Herb, receive the Symbol of Testing.

( ) Take the Symbol of Testing to Kazen, spawn and kill the three mobs, loot the Symbol of Insanity from the Tormented Spirit.

( ) Take the Symbol of Insanity to Drendico Metalbones in Timorous Deep. Receive his Journal.

Reagents

( ) Talk to Jzil Gsix in the Plane of Sky quest room. Complete the Cloak of Spiroc Feathers quest.( ) Silver Disc, ( ) Spiroc Feathers, ( ) Black Silk Cape.
( ) loot the Eye of Innoruuk in the Plane of Hate from Innoruuk or the mini bosses.
( ) Loot the Blood of Cazic Thule from an Iron Gaurdian in the Plane of Fear.
( ) Take all three items plus the journal back to Drendico, receive a Prepared Reragents Box

The Scythe of Shadowed Souls

( ) Give the Prepared Reagents Box to Kazen, receive Tome of Instruction.
( ) Turn in the Tome in to Gkzzallk in the Plane of Sky (see walkthrough), receive Gkzzallk in a Bottle.
( ) Take the Bottle back to Kazen, and receive the Scythe of Shadowed Souls.
